Blowing in the wind

Gusty winds were the flavour of the day on today's ride into the small (by Chinese standards) city of Jiangue where the tour halted for the night and riders and staff alike get to experience some more Chinese hospitality and the warmth of a hotel room as well as a hot shower. The wind blew in our desert camp last night and this morning, the skies were clear and offered us a morning vista of mountains with a fresh dusting of the fluffy white stuff. Some small climbs dotted the ride and the trees are losing their leaves so it was dust and leaves blowing everywhere but as we are on a secondary road and not the main highway, the traffic not so bad. The best thing about this day, sunshine and a cranking tailwind! Sorry, no pedalling required!
