A continent so full of wild energy and such diverse cultural differences that it manages to capture your heart through an array of moments that simply take your breath away! It is both a humbling experience and a mind blowing one all rolled into one which makes you appreciate the small things in life and that you are lucky enough to be there - riding your bike - alive! The laughter and smiles of children as you pass through their villages, African skies with breath taking sunrises and sunsets, goats in the middle of the road causing you to slow down, rain clouds and sand storms and wind in your hair all make for exciting riding. Just when you think you can ride no more you make a coke stop at a lone road side store and an elderly gentleman thanks you for stopping and offers you water - a precious comodity to pour over your head and cool off. How do you say no? Africa - she leaves you forever spell bound and connected by an invisible thread that makes you want to return and see her again and again and again."
